There are good and bad bacteria in our bodies and most importantly in our digestive tract. It is what helps us to digest our foods and maintain good functioning within the body. Balancing the right amount of good and bad flora helps us to maintain good health. It is often ideal when the good flora dominates over the bad. But a careful balance must be maintained at all times. Maintaining good digestive health is paramount to our overall fitness and well- being. It is when the bad flora grows out of control that illness begins and this is never a good thing.
