It should be durable enough that you may wear it almost daily without it wearing off. Ensure you buy an original brand as there are so many imitations in the market nowadays. Nevertheless, take care of it so that it can last longer.

Look at the different materials that the cases have. They are mostly just three; either metal, plastic or leather. The materials say a lot about the watch regarding expense and style. Metal frames are most expensive especially if you are using high-quality metals. The leather watch depends on the quality of leather; there are original or fake leathers. Plastic watches are the cheapest among the three. To improve the appearance of your frame, you can have it custom made, for instance, you can add precious stones.

People choose according to their preferred style or reason for wearing the watch. It could be for sports. Therefore, someone would want it to have features such as a timer or be able to the calories lost and the distance covered. This makes the choice range from a simple one to a luxurious watch.

Decide on the type of movement you want the watch to have; it could either be mechanical, battery or quartz. The ones that use battery are the cheapest and use batteries as their source of energy, and quartz is slightly more expensive with mechanical being the most expensive.

Also, consider the unique features the watch has that make it better than any ordinary one. For example, some level of water resistance, computerized or can tell different time depending on the time zones.
